This 12 days package will take you around several of Uganda’s parks as Murchison falls, Kibale forest, Queen Elizabeth national park, Bwindi impenetrable, and the smallest of all but most beautiful park in Uganda thus Lake Mburo national park. 12 Days Best Of Uganda safari: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport in Uganda

Welcomed by our safari guide at the airport in the evening hours you will get aboard and transfer to the hotel we reserved for you in Kampala to freshen up have dinner and rest for the night as you prepare to head for your next destination the next morning.

Day 2: Depart for Murchison Falls National Park 

Breakfast and then drive to the mystical Murchison falls national park with a stopover at the rhino sanctuary to see one of the big five which I this case will be the rhinos. Engage in the rhino trek that will run for about one and a half hours. There on head to Masindi town and stop for your lunch meal. There after drive into the park dinner and overnight at the hotel reserved.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Boat Launch on the Nile

Rise early enough, and head for the game drive so as to have sight of the animals after they have fed and settled down with less movement. When in nyamsika plateau you will have a view of the cape buffalos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, heartbeats among others. Head back to the accommodation for your breakfast meal as you warm up for the boat cruise that is going to give you an opportunity of watching the aquatic animals like the crocodiles,hippos, that will be laying along the Nile banks. Some of the common birdlife inclusive of which are the kingfishers, commorant, saddle–bill stork, rare shoebill stork, pelican, bee-eaters, Egyptian geese, Goliath heron among others. Head back for your lunch meal. There on head to the nearest community to see how the locals earn a living from the handcrafts, curving and more. Back to hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Visit the Top of the Falls, and then transfer to Kibale National Park

This day will take you to the top of the roaring falls after your breakfast meal. While here you will observe the Nile water gashing through the seven meter gorge. You will realize that the banks are harbored by the water animals. You can then hike to the top of the falls to see its beauty from the top as it makes stunning a rainbow as you take the scenic pictures. You will then head to the car waiting on you to head to kibale national park which will take you approximately nine hours to the primate forest .watch the beautiful country side along the way as you also witness how the people have lived on agriculture evidenced by the few gardens you will see along your way. Have lunch en-route and drive on. On arrival check in then dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Destination: Kibale National Park

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking plus Bigodi Walk

Having had breakfast head to the kanyanchu center on time ready to be briefed at 08:00am you will be told more about the dos and don’ts when you are in the forest looking for these apes. The forest is blessed with 13 primate species that’s why it is also known as the primate capital of the world. During your trekking it could take you around two to three hours you surely see the chimps as they move around in the forest and act more like humans and in addition you will also see some bird species plus a variety of butterflies. Back to the lodging freshen up lunch and then head for your other trek which will be the Bigodi walk you will see monkeys as they sway around and more birdlife from the one you saw in the forest. Drive back to the lodge dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Well packed up and ready to leave kibale for queen Elizabeth national park you will head to the dinning for your breakfast meal and there after board the car so as to set off for queen Elizabeth the journey will take you about three hours or more in consideration of where you spent the previous night. On arrival you can engage in the boat ride at the kazinga channel which has lots of animals as you drive through you will see some of the big game as you take pictures. There after head for the hotel check in freshen up followed with your lunch meal. Take on a community walk afterwards to interact with the local people who will turn out to be entertaining. You could buy some of their items on showcase if you find intrest.head back for dinner and asleep over.

Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Morning game drive as you drive through the Ishahsha sector where you will be able to see some of the game on ground that you didn’t catch a chance to see while on the boat cruise among the game you will be able to see some of the tree climbing lions lounging in the trees, herds of Uganda kob which are favorite prey to the lions, many buffaloes, elephants as well as the rare shoebill. The lunch at any of the nearby lodge in this part of the park .drive south to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park during your journey you will see a great country-side, bamboo forest plus the great and scenic views of the landscape. Arriving in the late hours of the afternoon check in for dinner and a nights rest at the hotel reserved.

Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

You will have an early morning breakfast then make sure that you have carried all you will need while in the forest inclusive of which should be packed lunch and drinking water, head straight to the park headquarters to join the others heading for the same activity for a collective briefing before the activity. Trek through the forest with your guide to find the rare mountain gorillas and on finding them you will need to spend a full hours’ time observing these gorgeous apes as they feed play and relate as you take pictures. Have dinner and overnight at the lodge reserved at.

Day 9: Second Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Kisoro Town

Follow more of the previous day’s routine only that today you will trek a different group of the gentle giants take pictures to have a lot more memory of the majestic apes. There after head to kisoro town where you have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Have a delicious breakfast meal and transfer from kisoro to lake Mburo national park along the way you will make a stop over at igongo cultural center where you will get to know more about the Ankole culture plus a cultural dance treat then your lunch meal and the head straight into the park where you will start having views of the animals. Check in at the hotel booked at and then you can head on for horseback riding where you will be able to see the game at a closer distance without scaring them off.

Day 11: Morning Game Drive, Nature Walk, and Boat Cruise

Wake up early then after breakfast you will head for game viewing in Lake Mburo national park this time it will be through driving. There are various views of gorgeous vegetation types the antelopes, the wildlife like the Zebra, Warthog, Elands, and Impala among others.After that you will head back to the hotel for lunch, you can then take on an afternoon boat cruise as you visualize the rest of the park it could take you about two hours as you see the rest of the animals that are aquatic like the hippos crocodiles water birds and more. Back to lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Transfer to Kampala

Wake up and eat breakfast as you get ready to set off for Kampala of which the journey will take you about 6 to 7hrs. A stop at the equator will be necessary so as to have the chance of standing in two hemispheres in the same period. You can then take pictures if choose to have memory of the experience and have lunch at this very stop. Determining on your next destination and the time you have on you when you arrive in Kampala you will then head to the airport to catch your flight or an overnight hotel of your booking.
