10 Day Uganda Gorilla Tour: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You will be picked up by our safari guide in the morning from your hotel after you have had breakfast to head to Murchison falls national park with a stop at the rhino sanctuary to trek the rhinos which will take you about an hour and a half then hit the road to Masindi town where you can choose to stop for a stretch up. Then head on to the park check in have lunch and head to the top of the falls where you will realize that nature is a actually beautiful. Back to the lodge dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive in Murchison Falls and Launch Cruise along the Nile River

Wake early and have breakfast and then accelerate this ten days safari with an early morning game drive to watch the wild animals in the wild as they rotate around peaceful and expose themselves beautifully. You will see animals like the Cape buffalo, elephants, lions, Rothschild’s giraffes, hyenas, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribi, bushbucks, and in case of luck you will also view the leopards in the park. After some good hours of the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and he in the afternoon head for the fascinating launch cruise where you will see other animal species that end to live in or around d the waters among which are the numerous Nile crocodiles and a wide range of birdlife species. Day 3: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

After breakfast embark on another journey from Murchison falls to kibale forest national park which is known as the primate capital of the world so as to have the primate experience. It will take you some good hours to get there but you will have lunch en-route and on arrival check in at the accommodation that is reserved for you have dinner and a nights rest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

This day will require you to wake up early have breakfast and then head to kibale headquarters for briefing before you hit the forest for searching of the chimpanzees it will take you a few hours to trek them down and interact with them as you take pictuers.View these amazing apes as they jump from tree to tree .After the amazing encounter you will head to Queen Elizabeth national park with lunch en-route as you enjoy the magical impressive sights along the way. When you reach the head to the lodging freshen up dinner and rest up.

Day 5: Wildlife Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Be early to wake and grab a cup of coffee then rush so as to watch the early risers in Queen Elizabeth national park during you game drive you will view game such as the elusive leopards and spotted hyenas, lions, Buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, spotted hyenas, Uganda Kobs among others. After the drive in the wild you will then return to the accommodation facility for lunch and in the afternoon engage in a boat cruise along the kazinga channel which also has a lot of aquatic wild game for you to view as you enjoy your safari. There on head back to the lodge to freshen up the dinner and a night’s sleep over.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will then head out of queen Elizabeth national park through Ishasha sector as you also search for the tree climbing lions that tend to hide in the fig trees, you will have lunch and then drive on to Bwindi impenetrable forest dinner and a nights relaxation.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Having had an early breakfast ready with your packed lunch you will head to the park headquarters for briefing before you embark on the search of the gorillas and then you will head for the forest having been allocated a gorilla group you will then start the search and spend strictly one hour in interaction while with the apes when you see them. Take as many pictures as you can.there after head back to the lodge freshen up dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

This morning you will have to at your breakfast and then transfer to one of Uganda’s scenic lakes that’s known to be bilharzia free so you can freely swim while here, after the check inat the hotel you will then then have lunch and can engage in either canoeing or a boat ride in the afternoon. After the sensational activity then head back to the accommodation for dinner and a nights rest.

Day 9: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park 

Be early to wake and have your delicious breakfast meal and then head on to Lake Mburo national park also known as the’’ whispers of the wild’’ .It will take so some few hours to get there, have a stop have Mbarara town for lunch and proceed to the park. Check in at the hotel and engage in any afternoon activity of your choosing as per the quoted prices it could be a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to view more animals or a horseback ride to view the game more closely. There after head back dinner and overnight at the hotel booked.

Day 10: Nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park and Transfer to Kampala

Morning breakfast and then a game walk or nature walk that will earn you great views of the game, there after head back to freshen up then check out and head to the car to embark on your journey to Kampala city with a stop at the equator for lunch. While here you could also pas the craft shops that have a lot of African items. In about three to four hours you will be in Kampala and will be dropped at the airport as this marks the end of your safari.
