The park’s Game viewing is far the best with lots of game like the bush duikers, leopards, cheatahs, striped hyenas, lesser kudus, buffaloes, jackals, lots of antelopes, bush babies and lots more Game.Kidepo Valley boasts of great hiking adventures with beautiful sceneries of Lamoj Mountains with a short drive from the Headquarters, the Kanangorok Hot Springs, a fantastic spot to visit and have views of lions on Ant Hills, the Narus Valley in the south west of the park with great views of hyenas, leopards and a vast number of wildlife. The Nature walks leading you to the Karamajong communities in their manyatta huts, traditional karamajong wears, spears, arrows and bows from their home steads can be a captivating moment for all those looking for African Cultural experiences.

5 Day Kitgum Kidepo Uganda Safari: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kitgum Town

Rise up early enough since you have a long journey to embark on have breakfast and be on the road with our driver guide to the northern part of the country. After breakfast, we set off from Kampala/Hotel and we head north towards Kitgum town which is about 452km. The journey takes you through Luwero Triangle which holds awar history. With a stop in nakasongola to stretch and have refreshments then head onto gulu town where you will be served you lunch meal and continue to Kitgum where we check in for our night.

Destination:  Kidepo Valley National Park

Day 2: Transfer from Kitgum Town to Kidepo Valley National Park

Having had breakfast, set off for a 2-3 hours’ drive to Kidepo Valley National Park through, kakwanga, loitanit villages proceed as you enter the park and check into the lodge relax as you wait on your nicely prepared lunch meal, after lunch head for an evening fully packaged Game drive. Back to the lodge late in the evening for an overnight

Day 3: Morning and Evening Game Drive in Savannah of Kidepo Valley National Park

Following breakfast head for the morning game drive in kidepo, thereafter return for lunch and prepare for the afternoon game drive. Come back to the later and check in Apoka Lodge.

Day 4: Departure back to Kitgum

Have your breakfast meal, there after head for a view rewarding game drive, have lunch, check out of the park and drive to kitgum, for dinner plus an overnight stay at Boma hotel.

Day 5: Journey Back to Kampala

We will have our morning meal, thereafter drive to Kampala with lunch en-route, on arrival in the city head to the airport to catch the next flight.

Getting There

The trip will start from Kampala or Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe international airport after the trip.
