Day-by-Day Namibia Lodge Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek

Your Namibia Lodge Safari starts at Windhoek International Airport where you’re greeted and transferred to a comfortable guesthouse near the city centre. Enjoy a short city tour exploring colonial landmarks such as Christ Church and Tintenpalast. Optional dinner at Joe’s Beerhouse. Overnight at Elegant Guesthouse (or similar).

Day 2: Windhoek to Kalahari Desert

After breakfast and a short briefing, drive south to Mariental and on to the red dunes of the Kalahari. Settle into Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch (or similar) and enjoy views of the stunning desert landscape. Breakfast & Dinner included.

Day 3: Kalahari Desert to Namib Desert

Optionally join a sunrise drive before heading towards Sesriem, gateway to the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Relax at Elegant Desert Lodge and enjoy the waterhole and optional sunset drive. Breakfast & Dinner included.

Day 4: Explore Namib-Naukluft & Sossusvlei

Early departure to Sossusvlei for a sunrise dune climb and walk to the iconic clay pan. Visit Sesriem Canyon in the afternoon. Overnight at Elegant Desert Camp with a chance to sleep under the stars. Breakfast & Dinner included.

Day 5: Namib Desert to Swakopmund

Travel through the Moon Landscape via Bloedkoppie and Welwitschia Drive to Swakopmund. This charming coastal town offers German colonial flair and seaside attractions. Overnight at Organic Square Guesthouse. Breakfast included.

Day 6: Swakopmund Free Day

Enjoy a free day in Swakopmund. Optional activities include desert safaris, seal colony visits, scenic flights, and more. Explore the town or relax by the coast. Overnight at Organic Square Guesthouse. Breakfast included.

Day 7: Swakopmund to Erongo Mountains

Journey inland to the iconic Spitzkoppe granite peaks and then visit the San Living Museum to learn about ancient traditions. Sunset drive at Otjohotozu Guestfarm. Breakfast & Dinner included.

Day 8: Erongo Mountains to Twyfelfontein

Explore the famous San rock engravings at Twyfelfontein and visit the Damara Living Museum. Overnight at Malansrus Tented Camp in the heart of Damaraland. Breakfast & Dinner included.

Day 9: Desert Elephant Tracking in Damaraland

Track rare desert-adapted elephants with a local guide. Enjoy incredible scenery and the chance to see desert wildlife. Return to camp for dinner and relaxation. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

Day 10: Damaraland to Etosha National Park

Day 11: Full-Day Safari in Etosha National Park
