4 Days Gorilla Wild Adventure Safari: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Forest National Park

Commence your four days safari with an early set off to transfer from Kampala to bwindi with a pick from the hotel slept at with accompaniment from our company guide. You have lunch en-route then head to the northern sector of Bwindi impenetrable rain forest where you will do the gorilla tracking on the following sunrise. The beautiful scenery referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa” will be a big spectacle as you explore the vast country side. On arrival at the sector of the forest that your to trek it could be Ruhija or Buhoma side .Check in at the accommodation freshen up and then you can head for the community walk that will enlighten your safari as you see the traditional dances of these Batwa pygmies. Back to the accommodation dinner and overnight

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Having woken up early enough report at the headquarters for briefing not forgetting your drinking water and packed lunch since you may spend several hours in the forest in search for the rare mountain gorillas. You will be briefed before engaging in the trekking activity and then you will then set out to track the gentle giants through thick vegetation as you hike up and down slippery slopes. Vigilance is required so as to hear the happening in the forest and not scare the animals away. Walk on until you are finally eye to eye with the gorillas. You’re allowed an hour with them is a as you observe and learn their habits while taking great photos for great memories. Feel the extraordinary moment while with the gorillas that are in the dense rain forest, return to the lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive through Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park with great luck you will see the rare tree climbing lions and not leaving out the antelopes which are a must see like Kobs, Gazelles, and Bush bucks among others. Drive on and with great time management you will be at the lodging to freshen up and then lunch is served. Thereafter jump on the boat to engage in the afternoon cruise along the kazinga channel where you will see the various aquatic wild life among which are crocodiles, hippos, and other wildlife buffalos, elephants and a variety of birds like pelicans, African skimmer, African fish eagle and the shoe bill in case of luck  on the channel banks. With a great camera you will have great photographs to hold to your memory. Overnight stay

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking then back to Kampala

Two activities are laid out for you to choose on your interest this time it maybe another primate trek though it will be the chimpanzees to be trekked this time it is done in kyambura gorge and same as the gorilla trekking it may take you some good hours to search and find these apes.

Or
A game drive in kasenyi trail in search for the various game in the part of the park inclusive of which are the Topis, Giraffes, Kobs, Warthogs, Buffalos that lie under the park’s 100 mammal species. Before noon, transfer back to Kampala in arriving late in the evening to connect to Entebbe for your flight back home.

Getting There

The trip will start from Kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe international airport after the trip.
