6 Days Bird Adventure Queen Safari: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1 – Day 3: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth & Learn about birds

You will transfer to Queen Elizabeth do birding en-route and while at the park you will still view and discover more bird species that roam around inside and around the park. These three days will give you sight of a lot of birds and their various theories that the guides will provide you with. Being one interested in birds you will have all three days to view and learn more about these fascinating bird species in maramagambo forest. Accommodation in maramagambo sector. Meal plan.F/B

Day 4: Birding In Ishasha Sector

Having had breakfast after waking up you will head to Ishahsa sector of queen Elizabeth to look out for birds species like the  African White-backed Vulture, African Harrier-hawk, African Crowned eagle, Helmeted Guineafowl, Black bee eater, Blue–breasted Kingfisher, White-headed Barbet, Double-toothed Barbet, Tinkerbirds, Nubian Woodpecker, Apalises, Greater Honey guide, White-browed Robin-chat, Sooty Chat, African Moustached Warbler, Zitting Cisticola, CroackingCisticola, Babblers, Copper Sunbird, Grey-backed Shrike, Common Fiscal, Sulphur-breasted Bush-shrike, Black-headed Gonolek, Black-crowned Tchagra, Brown-crowned Tchagra, Fork-tailed Drongo, plus various more birds ,you will then have lunch relaxation at the pools side and then dinner and sleep at the accommodation in this sector.

Day 5: Birding At Lake Edward

Take your breakfast early enough so as to head into the wild to look out for birds, you will be able to view birds like these below:
Look out for birds like the Cattle egret, Hamerkop, Storks, Shoebill, Ibises, Raptors, Red-necked Spurfowl, Black-bellied Bustard, Temminck’s Courser, Senegal Lapwing, African Wattled Lapwing, Brown Parrot, Diederick Cuckoo, White-browed Coucal, Blue-napped Mousebird, Striped Kingfisher, Little Bee-eater, Broad-billed Roller, Common Scimitarbill, White-headed Barbet, Larks, Yellow-throated Longclaw, Pipits, Sooty Chat, Cisticolas, Northern Black Flycatcher
After the first birding session you will head back for your lunch meal and there after go to Proceed to the Ntungwe and nearby trails that can give you views of birds. You will then head back just in time for dinner and a nights rest.

Day 6: Transfer Back to Kampala

Pack all your luggage making sure you haven’t left anything behind it will all be fixed in the car as you finish up with your breakfast meal. Thereafter head to the car ready for your journey to Kampala you will have bird watching en-route where you will see species like the  Nubian Woodpecker, Bateleur, Crested Francolin, Blue-spotted Wood Dove, Brown Parrot, Bare-faced Go-away-bird, Lilac-breasted Roller, Broad-billed Roller, Striped Kingfisher, Blue-napped Mousebird, African Grey Hornbill, Spot-flanked Barbet, Fork-tailed Drongo, Cisiticolas, Weavers, Widowbirds, Finches and Waxbills plus a lot more, you will have a lunch stop as you interact on how your safari experience has been. Arrive in Kampala late evening and you will be dropped back at the airport.

The trip will start from Kampala or Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park ( Ishasha Sector, Lake Edward ) and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe international airport after the trip.
