 Day 1: Pick Up from Kigali and Transfer to Uganda’s Bwindi Forest 

For your Uganda Gorilla trekking tour from Kigali, upon arrival at Kigali International Airport Rwanda, please meet and greet our company representative along with your driver guide for a briefing before traveling to Kigali city to visit the Crafts village, the local market, and the Genocide memorial site.

After eating lunch, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda. Drive there from Kigali, cross the border into Uganda at Katuna, and then check into your reserved lodging. Then, unwind, have dinner, and get ready for an awesome gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

The main attraction of your three-day safari from Kigali, Rwanda, to Uganda is today! You will be assigned to a specific gorilla family and later set out with your head guide to the forest in search of mountain gorillas after waking up and enjoying a hot cup of tea or coffee, grabbing your packed lunch, and traveling to the pack headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi.
When you locate them, you will be given an hour to sit with them, watch them play, and feed their babies. Before going to Lake Bunyonyi for the canoeing excursions, descend to the starting point to pick up your certificates, then drive back to your resort for lunch and check-out. With the assistance of an indigenous guide, you will visit and discover various islands. after the trip, you will meet your driver and guide and be transferred back to the resort, where you can unwind.

Day 3: Culture Tour – Transfer to Kigali International Airport 

After breakfast, go on a community tour around Lake Bunyonyi to learn more about the local people’ traditional customs. You may see stunning views of Rwanda’s rice fields and Kabale’s terraced hills on a clear day. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon, then proceed to the airport to catch your next flight.
