Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
Greetings and a cordial welcome to Tanzania! Your guide will retrieve you in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel in central Dar Es Salaam. Your exclusive Tanzania Safari to the Southern Safari Circuit commences with a six-hour journey to Mikumi National Park, accompanied by delectable packed lunches.
We reach Camp Atupele, located around 15 minutes from Mikumi Park. Following a brief period of relaxation, we will embark on an afternoon game drive in an open-sided 4×4 safari vehicle to observe your initial encounters with elephants, buffalos, and various other species across the picturesque plains of Mikumi. Following this exhilarating trip, we shall return to our campsite to savor a delectable dinner and unwind to the sounds of the surrounding wildlife.

Predators such as lions, wild dogs, hyenas, and leopards are also present in this region. Mikumi is a significant avian habitat in Tanzania, with more than 400 species documented. Following a day replete with exhilarating experiences, we return to our campsite, where a substantial lunch and a tranquil evening await us.
