Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park, Tanzania
A cordial greeting and welcome to Tanzania. A safari van will fetch you from your hotel in central Dar Es Salaam, with delicious packed lunches included for the approximately six-hour ride. Nyerere National Park, our destination, is among the largest and oldest game reserves in Africa. This secluded park is recognized as a concealed treasure. Nyerere National Park was designated a National Heritage Site approximately 50 years ago. It is distinctive for its intact ecosystems, biodiversity, and tranquil solitude devoid of crowds.
We arrive at our campsite, Rufiji River Camp, in the afternoon. Following a period of acclimatization and repose, we embark on an afternoon game drive in an open-sided 4×4 safari vehicle to observe your inaugural elephant, buffalo, and various other species across the expansive grasslands of Nyerere. Following this exhilarating expedition, we shall return to our campsite to unwind and partake in a substantial dinner. Listen to the nocturnal nature sounds and relish your experience in Africa.

Day 2: Nyerere National Park, Tanzania
Following breakfast, we are prepared for our exhilarating full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. This vast national park in Tanzania is home to a significant population of wildlife, including the Big Five: elephants, massive herds of buffalo, lions, giraffes, hippos, and zebras. Smaller predators such as wild dogs (painted wolves), hyenas, and jackals inhabit this area, where numerous species of antelope are also abundant. Avian enthusiasts will be delighted by observations of kingfishers, palm-nut vultures, and fish eagles, among others.
The landscape is diverse, picturesque, and tranquil, featuring expansive grasslands, woods, and many lakes teeming with avian life. Following a day replete with exhilarating experiences, we return to our campsite, where a delectable lunch and a soothing, leisurely evening await us.
