Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park, South Africa
This four-day safari in Kruger National Park commences in the lively city of Johannesburg or in Nelspruit. On the initial day, you will be retrieved from OR Tambo International Airport in the early morning. Alternatively, tourists are retrieved from their pre-safari accommodations within a 5km radius of the airport by prior arrangement. Your driver will transport you from Johannesburg, the economic center of South Africa, to Kruger National Park in our air-conditioned tour vehicle. This expedition proceeds through Nelspruit. You may commence your Kruger Safari in Nelspruit rather than Johannesburg, should you choose to do so.
En route to Kruger National Park, we will pause for two rest breaks and lunch (at personal expense). Upon arrival at Kruger Park, you will be taken to the open safari vehicle for your initial wildlife drive. Upon entering South Africa’s foremost game reserve, Kruger Park, the wildlife observation experiences commence!
We proceed to our adequately furnished rest camp in southern Kruger National Park, observing wildlife along route. Upon arrival at our rest camp, your safari guide assists you in checking into your air-conditioned bungalow lodging. You have some leisure time to rejuvenate prior to dinner. You will depart in the morning and return to camp in the late afternoon. This last game drive provides an opportunity to capture photographs and mark off any African species you may have overlooked during prior excursions. The early morning game drive is succeeded by breakfast at the camp before to our departure from Kruger National Park. It is now time to depart, remaining vigilant for animals as we exit Kruger National Park at approximately 11:00 AM.
Departing from Kruger, we transition to our air-conditioned tour vehicle and proceed to Johannesburg, passing through Nelspruit. We return to the metropolis between 16:00 and 17:00. Accommodation for Safari in Kruger National Park
During this Budget Kruger National Park Safari, visitors reside in en-suite bungalow (chalet) accommodations at a prominent rest camp in southern Kruger National Park.
Visitors generally reside at Kruger’s primary rest camp, Skukuza Rest Camp. Alternatively, we utilize Lower Sabie Rest Camp or Pretoriuskop Rest Camp, contingent upon availability. All three Kruger rest camps are adequately furnished and comfortable. Each possesses a swimming pool, restaurant, café, and many amenities.
The cottage features air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. The bungalows in Kruger National Park are simple, pleasant, and receive regular maintenance. Each bungalow is equipped with two or three single beds, along with linen, towels, and a compact bathroom. Each unit is equipped with a little refrigerator and a kettle. The en-suite amenities comprise a shower, toilet, and sink. All windows and doors of the bungalows are equipped with mosquito screens.
Kruger National Park Safari Memorandum
This is a communal tour with a maximum capacity of 9 individuals per car. Groups over nine individuals are divided among several vehicles and guides. Custom, private trips for groups of fewer than 9 individuals can be organized at an additional expense.
