Day 1: Johannesburg to Motlala Game Reserve, South Africa

At the commencement of this Luxury Kruger Lodge Safari, you will travel from OR Tambo to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport, where you will be transported to a remote area adjacent to Kapama Private Game Reserve. While savoring a complimentary beverage, you may relax and immerse yourself in the natural surroundings, take a dip in your private splash pool, or rest in your air-conditioned tented cabin.

In the late afternoon, we commence a game drive in Motlala Game Reserve, which hosts robust wildlife populations, including two of Africa’s Big Five (leopard and buffalo). Three hours in Motlala provides ample opportunity to observe numerous gorgeous animals and diverse avian species within this picturesque game reserve. The reserve is comparatively uncrowded, and the animals are notably accustomed to human presence.

A game drive in this diverse private reserve offers an exceptional introduction to the African wilderness and its wildlife. Leopards, buffalo, and several plains game species are frequently observed in Motlala, which features diverse habitats, including riverine woods and open grasslands.

After observing a variety of Motlala’s indigenous species and witnessing a magnificent sunset, we return to the exclusive tented resort, vigilant for nocturnal animals. A substantial dinner is a pleasing sight. Gaze at the stars, unwind and converse in the bar, refresh yourself in your plunge pool, and absorb the nocturnal noises of the wilderness.

Day 2: Kruger National Park – South Africa

Following breakfast this morning, our experienced guide will escort us into the heart of Kruger National Park in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. We dedicated an entire day to South Africa’s foremost national park, immersing ourselves in the wild essence of Africa. Our game drive seeks Africa’s Big Five – lion, leopard, rhinoceros, buffalo, and elephant, alongside the diverse wildlife and avifauna residing in this expansive game reserve.

On the second day of our Luxury Kruger Lodge Safari, we traverse the expansive plains of the Satara region, renowned for its remarkable wildlife observations. The expansive bushveld of Satara is optimal for observing wildlife in this game-abundant region of Kruger. Numerous antelopes, zebras, giraffes, and predators are often observed in Satara, renowned for its lion prides.

Following a fulfilling day on safari in Kruger National Park, we retrieve our luggage, which has been transported on our behalf, and subsequently embark on a midnight wildlife viewing drive to our new luxury safari lodge, observing nocturnal fauna along the way. We partake in a reception meal there and spend the evening reminiscing about our exhilarating day of wildlife observation.

Day 3: Greater Kruger National Park – South Africa

This morning begins with a fresh coffee, followed by our ongoing game-viewing excursions as we embark on a morning game drive in Greater Kruger Park. Upon returning from our expedition into the forest, we enjoy breakfast at the lodge, followed by leisure time to recuperate and unwind.

Following lunch at the lodge, you have additional time to rest and take advantage of the exceptional amenities and comforts provided by the resort. This afternoon, high tea at the lodge is included.

In the late afternoon, we commence a sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle. The thrilling evening game drive is led by the knowledgeable personnel of the luxury lodge, as we seek the diverse species of Greater Kruger. During the game drives, the safari vehicles maintain continuous radio communication, enhancing the likelihood of wildlife sightings in this expansive, untamed bushveld. At night, we employ a strong spotlight to identify the species that surface after dusk.

Upon returning to the resort, we indulge in a delectable dinner and relax after an unforgettable day in the African wilderness. The hostess and lodge personnel guarantee that you receive indulgent and personalized service throughout your stay.

Day 4: From Greater Kruger Park to Johannesburg

On the concluding day of this 4 day Luxury Kruger Lodge Safari, we awaken early for an additional optional game drive in the private concession zone of Greater Kruger. Following our sunrise game drive in Big 5 region, we will have breakfast at the luxury lodge.

You will then be transported to Hoedspruit Airport, adjacent to Kruger Park, for your journey back to Johannesburg in Gauteng. This economical luxury Kruger Safari concludes at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, allowing for your subsequent travel.

About Balule inside the Greater Kruger National Park
