DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park – Rwanda
Today marks the occasion for your unparalleled adventure of tracking mountain gorillas in the Virunga Mountains of Rwanda. In the early morning, we partake in breakfast before proceeding to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters adjacent to Kinigi. Upon locating a troop of gorillas, we halt and engage with these docile animals for a period of time. Observe the largest primates globally as they engage in grooming, feeding, and social interactions inside their natural environment. Encountering a bunch of gorillas in person is one of the most extraordinary and uncommon wildlife experiences on the planet.
Following our intimate encounter with the great apes, we retrace our steps to the trailhead and return to our lodging. We dine and unwind, leisurely recuperating from our thrilling day of gorilla trekking.
