Join this small-group 13-day Uganda and Rwanda safari from Entebbe to Kigali. Fixed dates, a maximum of six travelers, and the group rate of US$ 4,425 per person. The journey covers rhino tracking, Murchison Falls, chimpanzees in Kibale, Queen Elizabeth wildlife, mountain gorillas in Bwindi, golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park and a Kigali city tour. A $100 deposit holds your place; permits are arranged as soon as you confirm.

Day 1 — 10 December 2026: Arrival in Entebbe

Meet your driver-guide at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel for a safari briefing. If you arrive early, the rest of the day is at leisure in Entebbe.

Day 2 — 11 December 2026: Ziwa rhinos & Top of Murchison Falls

Drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to Uganda’s southern white rhinos. Continue into Murchison Falls National Park and visit the Top of the Falls, where the Nile is forced through a narrow gorge, then overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 — 12 December 2026: Game drive & Nile boat cruise

Morning game drive on Murchison’s northern savannahs for elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, Uganda kob and predators. After lunch, a Nile boat cruise toward the Bottom of the Falls for hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds.

Day 4 — 13 December 2026: Transfer to Kibale

Scenic drive south through western Uganda to Kibale National Park, one of Africa’s best chimpanzee destinations. Arrive in the late afternoon for briefing on the next morning’s trek.

Day 5 — 14 December 2026: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi

Trek with Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers to a habituated chimpanzee community in Kibale Forest, with time for other primates. After lunch, a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for monkeys, birds and community conservation.

Day 6 — 15 December 2026: Queen Elizabeth & crater landscapes

Travel toward Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Fort Portal and Rwenzori foothills, with crater scenery where conditions allow. Afternoon game drive on the savannahs, wetlands and crater lakes.

Day 7 — 16 December 2026: Kazinga Channel & Ishasha lions

Wildlife boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel for hippos, elephants, buffalo and birds. Continue south to the Ishasha Sector for a game drive in search of tree-climbing lions in the fig trees.

Day 8 — 17 December 2026: Transfer to Bwindi

Leave Ishasha and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The landscape shifts from savannah to terraced hills and mountain rainforest. Afternoon at the lodge preparing for gorilla trekking.

Day 9 — 18 December 2026: Mountain gorilla trekking

Briefing at the Bwindi gorilla trekking centre, then hike with rangers to a habituated gorilla family. You have the permitted hour with the silverback, females and youngsters, then receive your certificate and return to the lodge.

Day 10 — 19 December 2026: Cross into Rwanda – Musanze

Drive to the Uganda–Rwanda border, complete immigration, and continue to Musanze, gateway to Volcanoes National Park. Weather permitting, views of the Virunga volcanoes. Briefing for golden monkey tracking.

Day 11 — 20 December 2026: Golden monkey tracking

Track golden monkeys in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park. Optional afternoon cultural or community experience around Musanze.

Day 12 — 21 December 2026: Kigali city tour

Drive to Kigali for a guided city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, with time for markets, craft centres and viewpoints. Final evening in Rwanda.

Day 13 — 22 December 2026: Departure from Kigali

Breakfast, then transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight. End of safari.
