Itinerary for this Tour
Day 1 – 2: Mpumalanga – South Africa
The adventure begins with a briefing in Johannesburg, followed by a drive to the Mpumalanga Province. On the first day, visit the gold mining town of Pilgrims Rest and the stunning God’s Window viewpoint. Enjoy a leisurely stroll to Mac Mac Pools before heading to your accommodation near the escarpment.
On Day 2, embark on a moderate hike through the Blyde River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in Africa, known for its rich subtropical vegetation. After lunch, explore the surrounding forests and waterfalls.
Day 3 – 4: Kruger National Park & Greater Kruger – South Africa
After an early breakfast, head to Kruger National Park for a day of game viewing. Look out for Africa’s Big Five, along with giraffes, zebras, and a wealth of bird species. On Day 4, enjoy a game drive at dawn and a short bush walk to experience the sights and sounds of the wildlife up close. Stay in a tented camp in the Big Five Balule Private Game Reserve.
Day 5 – 6: Malalotja Nature Reserve – Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland)
Enter the Kingdom of Eswatini and take a 4 to 6-hour hike through the Malalotja Nature Reserve. The following day, explore the cultural markets in Mbabane, the capital, before continuing your nature explorations in this remote mountainous region.
Day 7 – 8: Zululand Game Reserves – South Africa
Cross back into South Africa to explore the Zululand region in KwaZulu-Natal. Visit Hluhluwe Game Reserve for rhino conservation efforts and enjoy a nature walk along the Msinene River. Experience the diverse wildlife in this rich ecosystem.
Day 9 – 10: Zulu Battlefields – South Africa
Travel to Zululand’s battlefields to visit the historic sites of the Zulu Wars. Hike the Fugitives Drift Trail, retracing the footsteps of British fugitives, and visit the Islandlwana battlefield and Rourke’s Drift, famous for the film “Zulu.”
Day 11 – 12: Royal Natal National Park, Drakensberg – South Africa

Day 14: Johannesburg – South Africa
