3 Day Kruger Lodge & Treehouse Safari
Day 1: Johannesburg to Greater Kruger Park, South Africa
You are collected from your accommodation in Johannesburg or the OR Tambo International Airport on the first morning of this 3-Day Kruger Lodge & Treehouse Safari. We depart the mega-city and proceed to Kruger National Park in the northeastern region of South Africa.
Our initial overnight accommodation is at a game lodge located within a private reserve that is a component of the Big 5 Balule Nature Reserve in Greater Kruger Park.
After settling in at the game lodge, we embark on our first game-viewing excursion, traveling through the Big 5 Balule Reserve in an open safari vehicle. A professional guide assists you in the process of scanning the forest in search of the Big 5 of Africa: the lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant. Your guide transports you to a bush boma located in the private reserve as the sun descends below the horizon. A delectable supper is prepared for you on the open campfire in the wilderness. Your game drive continues in the dark after supper in the wild African bush. A potent floodlight is employed to identify nocturnal animals, and with any luck, we may observe lions, hyenas, jackals, or the elusive leopard during our journey.
The night wildlife drive concludes at the game lodge, where your air-conditioned chalet is waiting for you.

Day 2: Safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa
The day commences with a satisfying brunch, followed by a journey to Kruger National Park in our open-sided safari vehicles. The wildlife excursion commences upon entering Kruger through the Orpen Gate.
Our elevated safari vehicle is the perfect choice for game sightings and photo opportunities during a full-day safari in the Kruger National Park. The Orpen and Satara regions of Kruger Park are the primary focus of your game excursion. The Satara region is a prime destination for game viewing and is home to one of the highest concentrations of lions in Africa. The open bush and expansive prairies are home to vast herds of giraffe, zebra, and other antelope, which attract hungry predators.
After an exhilarating day of safari in Kruger Park, we depart the park and proceed to the Treehouse Camp in the vicinity. Upon arrival at the delightful treehouse camp along the Klaserie River, it is time to unwind and savor a meal around the campfire. As you relive the wildlife adventure of your complete day on safari in Kruger National Park, sit back and observe the stars, listening to the sounds of nature. Afterward, retire to your distinctive cabin, which is concealed within the untamed natural environment.
Breakfast and dinner are included.
Safari activities: A full-day excursion to Kruger National Park Safari
Day 3: Greater Kruger to Johannesburg
The final day of our 3 Day Kruger Lodge & Treehouse Safari commences with an early start as we embark on a foot journey through the African wilderness, subject to weather conditions. A trained guide will accompany you on a walk through the reserve for approximately one hour. Learn more about the critical role that smaller animals, birds, insects, and vegetation play in the ecosystem as you explore on foot. Although guests are uncertain as to what they will encounter in the bushveld, this brief trek offers a more detailed examination of the bush, including termite mounds, animal tracks, and scat, rather than the possibility of spotting big game.
Returning to the treehouse camp, we consume breakfast and ready ourselves for departure. Afterward, we return to Johannesburg by traveling along the Panorama Route. We will traverse sections of the Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondawels promontory on our journey.
We will return to Johannesburg at approximately 17:00, where you will be dropped off at your preferred accommodation or at OR Tambo International Airport, bringing this exceptional three-day Kruger Treehouse & Lodge Safari to a close.

Kruger National Park
One of the most renowned safari destinations in Africa and the premier wildlife reserve in South Africa is the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Kruger Park encompasses nearly 2 million hectares of untamed African bush, and its diverse array of habitats is home to an unparalleled variety of flora and animals.
Kruger is the premier safari travel destination in South Africa, providing exceptional game viewing opportunities, including vast populations of Africa’s iconic Big Five: elephant, rhino, leopard, lion, and buffalo.. A remarkable 147 mammal species and 517 bird species, as well as a diverse array of other wild animals and 336 tree species, inhabit this extensive wilderness area. Kruger National Park, the premier national park in South Africa, is recognized as a global leader in the implementation of advanced environmental policies and the administration of wildlife.
Regarding the Treehouse Camp
The Treehouse Camp provides a unique and refreshing alternative to the conventional safari accommodations available, as it provides accommodations in rustic cottages situated in an unspoiled bush environment. Accommodation is provided in distinctive thatched treehouses that are either nestled in the trees along the pristine perennial Klaserie River or offer a view of the camp’s floodlit waterhole, which is frequented by bison and other wildlife.
Two of the treehouses are situated in the trees and among the branches, with two distinct bathrooms located on the ground below. Ten of the cabins are situated on stilts in the gallery forest and are situated at ground level. They are equipped with en suite toilets. The Treehouses are each unique, with their own small viewing terrace. To ensure a comfortable stay at this exceptional value-for-money Treehouse Camp, the units are equipped with mattresses, soap, towels, mosquito nets, fans, and bedding. With an emphasis on novelty and character, the timber cabins provide a camping experience that is reminiscent of the outdoors. The treehouses’ basic and airy design is a contributing factor to their allure. Consequently, during the winter months (approximately April to October), blankets and hot water bottles are readily accessible to ensure adequate warmth.
The environmental impact on the dense bush environs is minimized by the construction of these elevated treehouses from wood, reed, and thatch. From the safety of your treehouse, you are able to listen to the sounds of wild animals at night, a genuinely authentic African bush experience! The secure treehouses are designed to merge seamlessly into the surrounding bush, providing a close encounter with the wild animals and unspoiled nature.
Regarding the Accommodation at the Game Lodge
The Kruger Safari lodge is located in a Big 5 game reserve that is a component of the Balule Private Reserve of the Greater Kruger Park. At a reasonable price, this game lodge is conveniently located near Kruger National Park, providing convenient access to the park at fantastic rates.
It is a backpacker-style wildlife lodge that offers basic amenities and basic rooms. Accommodation is provided in one of the 18 thatched chalets on this Kruger Safari, each of which is equipped with air conditioning and en-suite facilities (shower, toilet, and basin). The chalets are equipped with coffee and tea facilities. The beds are equipped with mosquito netting, and the chalet windows are equipped with mosquito mesh.
This modest lodge is situated in a verdant garden that features an open-air boma and a swimming pool. A diverse array of birds and animals can be observed at the nearby waterhole. Electric fencing also guarantees the safety of guests; however, it fails to exclude vervet monkeys, which are frequent visitors, as well as animals.
