Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our adventure begins as we arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where we are greeted by our knowledgeable guide Upon arrival. You will be picked from the airport or the hotel and embark on a scenic journey towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, we traverse the picturesque Ugandan countryside, passing through vibrant villages and verdant landscapes teeming with wildlife. Our guide provides insightful commentary, offering us a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Ugandan culture and history. You will have lunch enroute in Mbarara town, embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Upon reaching the outskirts of Bwindi Forest, we check into our comfortable camping accommodations nestled amidst the lush surroundings. We will settle in and spend the rest of the evening at leisure and rest for the tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and transfer to lake Bunyonyi

Today marks the highlight of our journey as we embark on an exhilarating gorilla trekking expedition in the pristine wilderness of Bwindi Forest. After a hearty breakfast, we meet our experience guides who will lead us deep into the heart of the forest in search of these magnificent creatures. Before setting out, our guides provide a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety procedures, ensuring a responsible and respectful encounter with the gorillas.
As we venture into the dense foliage of Bwindi Forest, our senses are heightened by the sights and sounds of the jungle. The air is alive with the calls of birds and the rustle of leaves, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. With each step, we are one step closer to fulfilling our lifelong dream of encountering mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
After several hours of trekking through rugged terrain, our efforts are rewarded as we catch our first glimpse of a gorilla family in the distance. Upon arriving at the shores of the lake, we are greeted by breathtaking views of lush green hillsides and crystal-clear waters stretching as far as the eye can see. Upon arrival, we will check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Exploration of Lake Bunyonyi and Departure

On our final day, we will have breakfast and after, we board a traditional wooden canoe and set out to explore the lake, gliding past verdant islands and secluded coves. Our expert guide shares fascinating tales and legends of Lake Bunyonyi, immersing us in the rich cultural heritage of the region. Along the way, we have the opportunity to interact with local fishermen and villagers, gaining insight into their traditional way of life. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge and check out and start your journey back to Kampala. With enroute stop over for lunch and at the equator for photo shoot and experiments if you like. You will arrive in Kampala late afternoon, and the driver guide will drop you off at the airport in time for your departure flight or you will be dropped off at your preferred location.
