Getting to Kenya for your Safari

How to get to Kenya – Complete Guide of getting there

Getting to Kenya for a Safari - Flight information

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) is Kenya’s principal airport, located 15 kilometers/9 miles southeast of the capital, Nairobi. Moi International Airport (MBA), located 9 kilometers/6 miles west of Mombasa, is Kenya’s second international airport; however, aside from flights to Zanzibar, it is largely utilized for domestic and charter flights.
From Nairobi or Mombasa, you can fly or drive between parks and reserves, or combine the two. Most (but not all) domestic flights from Nairobi depart from Wilson Airport (WIL), which is 6 kilometers/4 miles south of the city.
Regardless of the mode of transportation you choose, the local tour operator will most likely arrange airport pickup and all subsequent transportation as part of the safari package.
