 Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe transfer to accommodation

 

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where your tour guide will be ready to give you a warm welcome. You will be transferred to your hotel or lodge in Entebbe or Kampala.
Relax and unwind after your journey. Enjoy a romantic dinner at the hotel or explore local dining options.

Day 2: Transfer Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to track white rhinos. Continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Check into your lodge and have your lunch overlooking the Nile River.
Enjoy an evening sunset game drive in the park where you have the opportunity of encountering wildlife including Elephants, Lions, zebras, buffalos and many others.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

On day 3, you will go for an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Search for wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and more. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
In the afternoon after your lunch, you will embark on a boat safari on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls and witness the power of nature at the world’s strongest waterfall. Enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife sightings along the riverbanks including Hippos, elephants and crocodiles.

Day 4: Transfer Murchison Falls National Park – Hoima

After breakfast, depart for Hoima town on a 2-hour drive. Visit the Bunyoro Kingdom Palace for a cultural experience and learn about the history of the Bunyoro Kingdom. Check into your lodge in Hoima and have your lunch.
In the afternoon, you can do a Bunyoro Kitara Heritage trail which has about 50 cultural sites which include Palaces of past kings, royal burial places or tombs among other things related to the Bunyoro dynasty. You also have an opportunity of touring Hoima town and meet the wonderful people or you can alternatively relax at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer Hoima – Kibale Forest National Park

In the afternoon, visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a 4.5km guided nature walk which can take about 3 hours to complete. Explore the wetland habitat and spot a variety of bird species including the grand blue Turaco and other wildlife for example White colobus monkeys, L’hoest monkeys, bush bucks, bush pigs and others.

Day 6: Kibale Forest National Park

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi

On day 12 you will have opportunity to experience calm and enjoy the tranquility of Lake Bunyonyi, which is also known for being the deepest lake in Uganda. Take a boat ride around the lake and visit some of the islands as you do birdwatching. Here you have the opportunity of seeing some of the 200 species known to be found around Lake Bunyonyi as well as other wildlife and extraordinary beauties of nature.
Later in the afternoon after your lunch, you may relax on the shores of the lake and soak in the breathtaking scenery. In the evening you will have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 14: Lake Mburo National Park

Day 15: Transfer Lake Mburo National Park – Entebbe

After breakfast, prepare to depart for Entebbe on a drive that takes about 5 hours. En route, stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity. In the afternoon you may visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) in Entebbe. Learn about Uganda’s wildlife conservation efforts and see rescued animals up close.
Check into your hotel in Entebbe. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Have your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
