Camp Xakanaxa - Overview
Introduction to Camp Xakanaxa
Botswana, Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve
Camp Xakanaxa was among the first established in Botswana’s captivating Okavango Delta. Today, it offers a delightful blend of timeless rustic appeal and contemporary comforts, and with its secure fencing, it’s an excellent option for families journeying with pre-teen kids. It is also accessible for wheelchairs and features four open-roofed Land Cruisers for thrilling game drives in Moremi Game Reserve, along with three power boats for navigating the serene, reeded waterways of the Delta.
Experience the charm of 12 twin-bedded Meru-style tents, along with a dedicated guide’s tent for those traveling with a personal tracker, guide, or additional staff. There is also one of the largest swimming pools in the Delta and a cozy fire pit for delightful evenings under the stars.
Embracing the relaxed vibe of Africa, Camp Xakanaxa features a ‘open bar’ where you can serve yourself your preferred drink, and the kitchen staff are eager to whip up some local dishes if you wish to enhance your Delta experience for your palate!
