Tour Overview
10 Uganda Camping Safari offers you an opportunity to explore the uniqueness Uganda has to offer, the safari begins in Uganda in Kampala/ Entebbe as you drive Northwest with an opportunity to visit the Rhinos at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will track the Rhinos on foot.
You then continue to Murchison falls National Park, Uganda’s biggest nature reserve named after the dramatic Murchison falls where the Nile water squeeze through a narrow gorge of about 7 meters wide and plunges in to a pool of about 45 meters below and dropping down with a thunderous roar. You will do game drive where you will be able to see lots of animals including, Elephants, buffalos, lions and leopards, as well as soothing Nile launch cruise to the bottom of the falls, be on the lookout for the hippos, crocodiles and the elusive shoebill stork.
Then to Kibale forest national park fascinating rainforest hosting a total of 13 primate species as well as the Chimpanzees one our closest relatives which is the prime attraction in the park. Our nest stop is queen Elizabeth National Park famous for the tree climbing lions of Ishasha as well as the small and large game including the Elephants, Buffalos, Hippos, Uganda Kobs among others. Kazinga Channel boat cruise where you will view the world densest population of the hippos, crocodiles as well several bird species seen at the water banks. The safari continues to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest home of the Mountain Gorillas where you will participate in Gorilla trekking, the transfer to lake Bunyonyi Know as the place with little birds which is also one of the beautiful, magical and peaceful environments and doted with 29 Islands with historical backgrounds.
Lastly drive to Lake Mburo National Park where you will do game drives to see several animals in the park and boat cruise in lake Mburo and Nature walk in the park where you get close with the animals.

10 Days Uganda Camping Safari Tour: Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Murchison falls National Park
Your driver guide will pick you up by 6:30 after your breakfast at the lodge, he will brief you about the safari as you embark on your journey. Driving North west to Murchison falls. Enroute you will have first stopover at the equator for photoshoot then continue with the drive with another stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. This experience will take about 2-3 hours and after you continue with the drive arriving in Masindi town where you will have your lunch, continue to park and on arrival, you will drive to the top of falls where you will witness the powerful waterfalls. After you will drive to the lodge where you will check in have dinner and evening stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Waking up to the symphony of nature, we find ourselves immersed in the beauty of Murchison Falls National Park. After a hearty breakfast, we embark on our first game drive, eagerly scanning the horizon for signs of the elusive big cats and the iconic African buffalo. As the day unfolds, we witness the raw power of nature at the awe-inspiring Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile River thunders through a narrow gorge, creating a breathtaking spectacle that leaves us in awe of Mother Nature’s grandeur.
After you will return to the lodge for lunch as you get ready for 2:00pm boat cruise. Drive to Paraa area the start points of the boat cruise. You go on a boat cruise on the Nile with the highest concentration of hippos, crocodiles and aquatic bird species among other animals drinking water on the shores. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest National Park
Have morning breakfast and set out of the park and transfer to kibale forest National Park driving via the country side to Hoima town and Kagadi before arriving at Kyenjojo in the evening. You have your lunch in Hoima town as you continue with the journey arriving in Kibale in the evening where you will check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up to early morning breakfast and thereafter, head out to the park where you will join other trekkers and ranger guides for briefing about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. After you will be accompanied by the rangers to begin the search in the forest. The trek may last for about 2-6 hours depending on the location chimps. While in the forest, you will be able to see other primates’ species like the several species of monkeys, baboons among others. Once you found the chimps, you will be allowed one hour with them as you watch them go about their daily activities. After you will return to back to the headquarters then the driver will take you back to the lodge for lunch and thereafter, check out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via past the Rwenzori mountains offering stunning views of the magnificent sights of the Rwenzori also known as the ‘’mountains of the moon’’. Arriving in Queen Elizabeth in the evening, check in to the lodge for rest. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon Kazinga channel Boat cruise
As the first rays of dawn illuminate the savannah, we embark on a sunrise game drive, venturing deep into the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of its legendary inhabitants. With the guidance of our expert trackers, we are treated to sightings of lions lounging in the shade, herds of elephants lumbering across the plains, and graceful antelopes darting through the grasslands. After you will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, we set sail on the legendary Kazinga Channel, a natural oasis teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and a dazzling array of bird species. As the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of gold and crimson, we are reminded once again of the timeless beauty of Africa. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Forest national park via the Isha sha sector where you will embark on a brief game drive in search for the tree climbing lions and other game.
Today, our safari adventure leads us to the remote Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its population of unique tree-climbing lions. Setting out in search of these elusive predators, we navigate through dense woodlands and winding riverbanks, our senses heightened in anticipation of the rare sight that awaits us. And then, as if by magic, we spot them – majestic lions perched high in the branches of ancient fig trees, surveying their kingdom with regal indifference. It’s a sight that will stay etched in our memories forever, a testament to the untamed beauty of Africa’s wilderness. We will then exit the park and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park with enroute lunch arriving the in Bwindi late afternoon, check in to the lodge and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Today marks the pinnacle of our safari adventure as we journey to the mist-shrouded forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of mountain gorillas, the gentle giants of the jungle. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, we embark on a challenging trek through rugged terrain, following in the footsteps of these magnificent creatures. And then, amidst a symphony of birdsong and rustling leaves, we encounter them – a family of gorillas going about their daily lives with a sense of tranquility that belies their immense strength. It’s a humbling and exhilarating experience, one that reminds us of our shared kinship with all living beings on this planet. After, you will return back to the headquarters for briefing where you will be awarded with the certificate of participation in Gorilla trekking. Drive back and check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Bunyonyi arriving in the evening, check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Explore lake Bunyonyi
Have morning breakfast and go canoe boat in lake Bunyonyi from which you will explore the different attractions and the Islands. The guide will explain them to you with the stories and background of each of the Islands. Alternatively, you may opt for a nature walk to the nearby community where you will immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage of the Bakiga people, learning about their traditional way of life through dance, music, and storytelling. As we exchange laughter and camaraderie with our hosts, we gain a deeper appreciation for the timeless bond between humanity and nature, forged through generations of shared history and shared dreams.

Day 9: Transfer to lake Mburo National Park
Have morning breakfast and thereafter, check out of the lodge and transfer to lake Mburo National Park which takes about 5-6 hours’ drive, the drive takes you through the Impressive south western Uganda Center arriving in Mbarara town where you will have your lunch. Continue with the journey arriving in the park late afternoon, you may undertake 2- hours evening game drive where you will be able to see lots of mammal species and 350 bird species. Ot alternatively, you may go boat cruise in lake Mburo where you also see lots of mammals in and off shores as well as several bird species. Animals in the park include; Zebras, Impala, Common Eland, African Buffalos, Oribi, Defassa Waterbucks, Hippopotamus, Spotted Hyenas, Topis, Reedbuck, Bandes Slender and Dwarf Mongoose.
Some of the Avian gems sighted here include; Pied kingfisher, Papyrus gonolek, African wattled lapwing, Malachite Kingfisher, Black-bellied bustard, Blue-breasted Kingfisher, Red-faced barbet, Speckled mousebird, Saddle-billed stork among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Destination: Lake Mburo National Park
Day 10: Morning Nature walk and Departure.
Have your morning breakfast and by 6:30 am, you will meet up with the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide at Rwonyo and set off to the savannah stretches of Lake Mburo National Park of foot where you will be able to see lots of animals including the Burchell’s Zebras, Rothchild giraffes, Cape Buffalos, Common Elands, Impalas, warthogs among others as well as different bird species. Retreat from the activity as set off for Kampala, the drive takes about 4 hours drive. You will have lunch and thereafter, the driver guide will drop you off at the airport for your departure flight back home. Or at your preferred drop off point.
