Gorilla mist camp is situated in Ruhija sector one of the four regions of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is mainly found in the south western wing of Ruhija racking area which has three habituated gorilla families for trekking which are; Oruzogo, Bitukura, and Kyaguliro. Ruhija being one of the major birding destinations in Bwindi, Gorilla mist camp is located at Muko, Kabale just near one of the well known swamps for bird watching, where tourists are able to view bird species like the African Green Broadbill which is found only in this place in the whole of Africa. This camp is at a distance of 50km from Kabale town and 42km from Buhoma tracking area and it is approximately 7km from the Park. Gorilla Mist Camp

The camp is a mid range lodge that is locally owned and as well privately operated. It brings out the beauty of a real African safari lodge with landscape gardens where tourists enjoy the beautiful views of the Virunga mountains as well as the Impenetrable forest. While here, you really get to enjoy a wonderful tour in Africa as you enjoy the charming and quiet environment only interrupted by sweet melodies of the various bird species as they sing in the air and if you wish to have a nature walk through the impenetrable forest of Bwindi, you will get chances of seeing primates like the white and black colobus monkeys.

Gorilla mist camp has 3 fantastic and unique tented rooms that are self- contained with running water and solar electricity for full time, and in the main house, there is a fireplace, a dining area, a lounge, a library, a perfectly positioned balcony that enables you to get clear views of the area and a well-stocked bar. Each room has a suite bathroom, wadrope and a mosquito net , the staff is skilled and experienced that it offers good services with delicious meals as well hence favouring your stay at the camp.
