The dry season, this is during the months of June, July, august, September to October, this is the long dry season, while as December, January and February is the short dry season. However the weather in the dry season is hot during the day time and it is cold in the evening hours. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest is best done during the dry season due to little rainfall received and hiking is easy because the ground is not wet and slippery.
