 Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda

Your adventure begins with a transfer to your accommodation where you’ll have the chance to unwind after your journey. Day 2: Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park

After a sumptuous breakfast, it’s time to embark on the next leg of your journey as you board a scenic 2-hour flight from Entebbe International airport or Kajjansi airstrip to Kasese airstrip near Kibale Forest National Park, one of Uganda’s most biodiverse reserves and a haven for chimpanzee enthusiasts. As your plane soars above the picturesque landscapes of Uganda, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of lush forests, winding rivers, and rolling hills. Upon landing, a short transfer will take you to your eco-luxury lodge nestled amidst the tranquil surroundings of Kibale Forest. Here, you’ll be welcomed with warm smiles and refreshing drinks as you settle into your luxurious accommodation.
In the afternoon after your lunch, prepare for your first thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience. Day 4: Transfer Kibale to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, board a scenic 30 minutes flight to Kihihi airstrip in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the iconic mountain gorillas and one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. As you fly over the rugged terrain of southwestern Uganda, marvel at the stunning landscapes below, from mist-covered mountains to dense rainforests teeming with life.
Upon landing in Bwindi, you’ll be transferred to your luxury lodge nestled on the edge of the forest, where you’ll be greeted with warm towels, refreshing drinks, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. After settling into your accommodation, have your lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure, soaking in the natural beauty of Bwindi and preparing for the adventure that awaits you the following day.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today marks the pinnacle of your honeymoon safari – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, gather your gear and packed lunch and meet your experienced guides for a pre-trek briefing. Learn about the etiquette and safety guidelines for gorilla trekking and receive valuable insights into the behaviour and conservation status of these magnificent creatures.
With anticipation building, set out on foot into the dense undergrowth of Bwindi, following the trails left by the trackers in search of the elusive mountain gorillas. It may take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours to find the gorillas. After the exhilaration of gorilla trekking, take a day to immerse yourselves in the rich culture and heritage of the local communities surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. First you will you’re your breakfast then embark on a guided cultural tour of a nearby village, where you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the friendly inhabitants, learn about their traditions, customs, and way of life, and gain a deeper understanding of the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature in this remote corner of Uganda.
