8 Days Uganda Cycling tour and Wildlife Safari: Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be meet by one of our company driver/guides who will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day Cycling in Entebbe

After the morning breakfast, today our adventure commences in Entebbe, a picturesque town on the shores of Lake Victoria, where cyclists gather in eager anticipation of the journey ahead. After a warm welcome and orientation session, participants familiarize themselves with their bicycles and gear, ensuring they are fully equipped for the day. You will visit different sites in Entebbe including the Entebbe Zoo, reptile village, Lake Victoria, after you return to the lodge for lunch and brief rest and later evening, you go on another adventure where you will visit places like the Botanical gardens and the local markets. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Jinja and afternoon boat ride to the source of the Nile

Have a relaxed mor I ng breakfast and their after, check out and meet with your driver/guide who will transfer you to Jinja city. The drive takes about 2-3 hours. on arrival at the park, enjoy lunch and later evening you go on a canoe boat to explore the source of the Nile and thereafter, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Destination: Source of the Nile  

Day 4: Nature trail-Jinja city tour

Rise up early and have morning breakfast and thereafter, you will take on 20-25km ride through the city and visit some of the historical sites in the city. This ride will last for about 4 hours after you will ride back to the lodge for lunch and brief relaxation and later afternoon you will embark on another exciting biking which will cover about 10-15km through the local villages near Bujagali falls where you will spot several attractions like nature and wildlife like the monkeys, reptiles and several bird species. After you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Destination: Jinja 

Day 5: Tea, Sugar cane plantation trail in Jinja

Today after morning breakfast, you will go a ride through the tea estates and sugar cane plantations where you will also explore the hills along combined with tea and sugarcane as well as the local communities and villages around. This ride lasts for about 4-5 hours where you will return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the evening at leisure

Day 6: Transfer to lake Mburo National Park

Have morning breakfast and thereafter, check out and transfer to lake Mburo National Park situated in western Uganda. The drive time takes about 5-6 hours including a stop over at the equator for photoshoot and brief relaxation. You will arrive the park in time for lunch, in the afternoon, you will a brief game drive in the park to see some of the animals. Dinner and overnight stay the lodge.

Day 7: Morning cycling safari and afternoon boat cruise in Lake Mburo

After morning breakfast, with the ranger guide, you will transfer to the starting point of the cycling safaris in Lake Mburo National Park, as you cycle in the park, you will be able to see several mammal species at closer range including the giraffes, Zebras, Elephants and buffalos. After you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will go on 2-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo you will see water animals and aquatic bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Drive back to Entebbe/ Departure

After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and start your return journey to Kampala with enroute lunch arriving in Kampala in the afternoon, the driver will drop you of at Entebbe international airport for your flight home or at your preferred drop of point.

The trip will start from Entebbe or Kampala to Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and End in Entebbe or Kampala Uganda.
